The pages and documents under this section contain descriptions and documentation of how to reproduce the OpenShoe system. You do not have to read the system description before you read this section even though it might help. Reproducing the system is not hard and only requires very basic electronics and software skills. However, it’s a matter of how much you choose to do yourself.

To reproduce the system, start reading the Getting started to get a feeling for what is required. After that it’s probably a good idea to start with the Hardware since these parts have the longest lead times. Once you have got started with hardware you can look into the Software.

Documentation and descriptions for reproducing the necessary parts can be found under:

  • Reproducing the OpenShoe hardware see Hardware.
  • Installation, programming, and compiling/building the OpenShoe software see Software.
